With over 25 years in the healthcare industry, Kimberly’s experience in human medicine has provided the expertise and rigor necessary to bring real telemedicine to the animal health space.
Her experience spans many aspects of healthcare, and includes active practice, pharmacy, and Kimberly’s passion for healthcare, pets and animal welfare work is what drove her to propose that Activ Doctors Online make the leap from human to animal health.

Kimberly is formally trained in Forensic Psychology Specialization and Legal Studies at Barry University and as a Mental Health / Addiction Therapist at the University of Miami. She is an active member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and collaborates with a number of organizations to support women, children and pets issues, which she is very passionate about.
Rachel Gelber, DVM
A native Texan, Dr. Rachel Gelber graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas Tech University, then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M. Dr. Gelber has worked at a variety of small animal clinics, from busy AAHA-certified practices to wellness and spay/neuter clinics. She has also served in several leadership positions, ranging from the Mansfield ISD agricultural advisory board to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association’s Leadership Development and Recent Graduate committees.
When not at work, she enjoys traveling, dancing, artistic endeavors, and spending time with her animals – Molly, a pitbull mix, and a cat named Detective Pickles. She is very excited to work with Activ4Pets!
Dory Andraos, VP, Marketing
Prior to joining Activ4Pets, Dory Andraos oversaw the marketing department of the Found Animals Foundation, an innovative tech and philanthropy-driven organization. In his role as VP of Marketing, Andraos developed the marketing strategic plan, and revamped and improved processes and procedures within the marketing department. Andraos also lead the effort to establish a new brand strategy that clearly positioned the organization as a unique, smart, bold, hip, collaborative and educational entity for pets and pet adopters.
After spending nine years on the ad agency side working on such high profile national clients as Nissan, Yamaha, Best Western and JCPenney, he entered the pet industry as the Director of New Client Acquisition Marketing for VCA, Inc. One of Andraos’ key accomplishments was to strategically develop the company’s animal shelter partnership program. He also led VCA’s customer acquisition digital search marketing campaigns and grew new client business revenue year-after-year.
